    The band returns to the Princess Pub in Little Italy to celebrate the New Year!  What’s become an annual tradition, the Shams are dusting off the road cases and getting together for a couple rounds of their favorites and as always a rousing chorus of Auld Lang Syne. We hope to see you there.  Expect the crowd to assemble early, probably a small cover to get past the front door and the parking in Little Italy to be an adventure.  The Irish band, in a British pub, in Little Italy for an early New Year – Slainte!

  • Blackthorn Irish Pub

    The Shams are excited to be at the Blackthorn Irish Pub in Clairemont for the Very Day.  We hope to see you there from 6PM – 9PM. A couple of pints to be sure.

    The Shams take the stage at 1:30 in the Park at 6th & Laurel.  Admission is free, but it’s inside the beer garden (21+ only).  Not that that’s a bad thing.StPaddys2015

  • St. Paddy’s Celebrations 2015

    IMG_56574301387000It’s been a while, but our favorite time of year is here!  Time to dust off the song book, pull up a stool for band practice at The Sod and get ready for the big day!  We’re back at our favorite places this year, so be sure to say hello if you can make it out for a glorious day in San Diego!

  • St. Patrick’s Day

    IMG_56574301387000The countdown is on, the day is almost here.  If you can survive the weekend, the very day is the real thing.  Join us at McGregor’s for a great St. Patrick’s Day party.  The ShamRockers take to the stage around 6:00 or as soon as the fiddle player is ready.  Hope to see you here and celebrate your Irish heritage and some great music.

     

  • shamROCK 2014

    PubStage-600x400We’re glad to be back in the Gaslamp for San Diego’s 19th annual shamROCK and over 80,000 square feet of green Astroturf! It’s the  largest outdoor party on the West Coast! Sham ROCK 2014, presented by Jameson and The Field will take place Saturday, March 15th, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until Midnight and is guaranteed to once again “ROCK” the streets with endless live entertainment, countless live bands performing Irish Rock, Irish Punk Rock and other Irish favorites. The ShamRockers take the Pub Stage at 7:00 p.m.

    There also promises to be endless green beer and plenty of Jameson Irish Whiskey to concoct any of your favorite St. Paddy’s Day libations. Tickets to sham ROCK are $30 for General Admission and $65 for VIP until March 5th, $40 for General Admission and $75 for VIP until March 14th and $45 for General Admission and $85 for VIP on the day of the event.

  • Irish Festival in Balboa Park

    The highlight of our year, we’re proud to be back to close out the Main Stage at the Irish Festival in Balboa Park. The ShamRockers have been a part of the San Diego St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities since 1983.  And we’re still going strong.  After the parade, stick around the park for the crafts and arts festival with a great line up of music all afternoon.  The band takes the stage at 4:15.

    The festival is free, but you must be 21 or older to enter the beer garden and main stage area.  Although you can probably hear us from a few blocks away. For more information, visit stpatsparade.org
