A long overdue post of photos from ShamRock in the Gaslamp from our gal pal Cindi!
McGregor's Grill & Ale House, Mission Valley
The countdown is on, the day is almost here. If you can survive the weekend, the very day is the real thing. Join us at McGregor’s for a great St. Patrick’s Day party. The ShamRockers take to the stage around 6:00 or as soon as the fiddle player is ready. Hope to see you here and celebrate your Irish heritage and some great music.
If you’re looking to join up with the Shamrockers on Saturday before the St. Patrick’s Parade, we’ll be on 6th Ave. between Kalmia and Juniper. Stop by and say hi and witness Kevin stress out setting up a mobile PA system. Or help us hang some banners and decorate the truck. The parade starts at 10:30 AM. After the we roll past the judges stand and wrap up the parade, we’ll be in the park for a while, probably on Juniper St. Then the band takes the Festival Stage at 5:00 PM to start out the evening. And then on to ShamRock in the Gaslamp at 6:40 PM. It’s going to be a whirlwind, but we wouldn’t be the Shamrockers if we didn’t have three shows on the same day. Hope to see you out in the fine San Diego sunshine. Slainte! Erin Go Bragh!
To say we are greatly influenced by The Waterboys and the amazing Fisherman’s Blues would be an under-statement. One of the most tremendous albums of all time. Unfortunately we weren’t paying attention and missed this in time for the Christmas list and the North American Tour. Click the link or photo below for the article.

This article brings back some great memories of traveling the west of Ireland and really brings out the point of any trip to Erin – finding a good pint and a great ceili!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to celebrate the early New Year with the Shams and the Princess Pub. We’re proud to be part of a great tradition there – no better way to kick off the New Year, a little bit early.
The band has a list of New Years resolutions – new songs, to practice more, maybe some merch sales would be nice, more posts and photos on the website…the usual stuff. And to get a recording done. Just for fun, we took a live recording from the afternoon on New Years Eve at the Pub. Click the link below to listen or go to our Audio page.
…on to 2014!!!
